• Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Sandhole Veterinary Centre, Sandhole, Snodland, Kent Hours: Primary Care, Full time Practice: Sandhole Veterinary Centre Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience Practice Details Sandhole Veterinary Centre

We are a single-site, RCVS accredited practice that specialises in the care of small animals based in the county of Kent. We provide the very best care for any furred, feathered, and scaled family member, and specialise in cats and rabbits thanks to our silver ISFM cat-friendly and RWAF rabbit welfare award. Every member of our team is passionate about pets and offers a caring, friendly, and professional service.

We could go on about our beautiful, purpose-built building with lots of equipment but it really is our team that makes us the best. Each nurse has been specially chosen for their expertise but also their loveliness!

At Sandhole we do things a little differently. We asked our fabulous nurse team what their favourite things are about nursing with ‘the Sandhole difference’ and these are their replies:

‘We use multi-modal analgesia with pain scores. CRI and local analgesia is common. We even use local anaesthetic for our neuterings as standard.’

‘We treat every patient as if they are our own and we are all on the same page, we use freeze spray or emla for blood and cannulas to make it as easy as possible for our patients.

‘Our standard of care is on a referral centre level, but we are a close-knit team with a family feel and no out of hours.'
