We are looking for an enthusiastic vet to join our amazing team. Being a team player with a good sense of humour is essential!

We have 12 Vets, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN), 3 Student Veterinary Nurses (SVN), 4 Patient Care Assistants (PCA) and 8 Client Care Assistants (CCA) across our 3 clinics in South-west London and Surrey.

We are a nurse training practice and we also have a graduate training programme to support the next generation of vets and vet nurses. You will be well supported and have lots of opportunities to share knowledge and further develop your skills.

We have three clinics across South West London and Surrey with excellent levels of equipment.

  • Vet 4 Life Shepperton (7 Station Approach, Shepperton TW17 8AR)

 

Your role and responsibilities

Our clinics have excellent levels of equipment including digital x-ray processors, direct digital dental x-ray, endoscopes, laparoscopes, colour flow doppler ultrasound, k-laser, orthopaedic equipment and excellent in-house laboratory equipment. This will allow you every opportunity to work up and treat cases to your full potential. Working within a supportive team that includes four certificate holders (and an additional 3 vets due to finish their certificates this year) and visiting specialist surgeon and cardiologist allows the opportunity to share knowledge and further develop your skills.

Applicants must have experience in working within a Small Animal Veterinary Practice and be able to focus on maintaining high levels of both patient and client care. You will be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have a warm and compassionate approach to our patients, clients and the team. The role involves an element of people management and applicants should be able to work well within a team and demonstrate leadership skills.

Hours: 4 day week (Early shift: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm / Late shift: 10:00 am – 7:30 pm) Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday shifts and 1 in 9 Sunday shifts.
