Your role and responsibilities

We have an exciting vacancy for a 3 year ECVS Surgical Residency Programme (VSRP) commencing in July 2022 (ECVS programme requirements for College registration and qualification can be found on their website). Successful candidates will join a growing team of referral surgeons and work in collaboration with our dedicated Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue nursing teams.  The role will include supported out of hours responsibilities at weekends, weeknights and bank holidays. 

Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant surgical experience and who have completed a Rotating Internship and preferably also a Surgical Internship at a referral hospital.

We encourage an evidence-based multi-disciplinary approach, supporting a process of continuous learning and a collegiate atmosphere.  We have a large and varied caseload, clinical research is an essential component of the programme and a keen interest is both encouraged and supported. Linnaeus Veterinary Limited also facilitates a highly collaborative approach between their hospitals and colleagues to facilitate these elements.
