Hours: 42 hours/week on average, including approx. 1:4 weekends. Some night shift cover may also be required.
We are a well-established, RCVS accredited, small animal primary care practice that covers the locations of London, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire. Alongside all our primary care services we also have a 24-hour continuous care hospital made up of our highly certified specialists and general practice staff to ensure the highest form of veterinary care for the benefits of pets and clients alike. We have been awarded with ‘Hospital’ status under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme and have all the equipment you would expect us to, including full diagnostic facilities, an on-site lab, a dedicated ICU ward, separate cat/dog wards, and full theatre and dental suites.
Your role and responsibilities
Village Vet are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to work across our gold standard West London Village Vet Practices.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN that enjoys the diversity (and wage!) of locuming but wishes to have the additional perks and stability that a permanent role can offer. You will be based in some of our West London clinics, which include:
Brook Green which provides cutting edge stem cell therapy for dogs and cats; Ealing, a lovely practice located on an award-winning high street; St Helens; Chiswick, which has a visiting specialist orthopaedic surgeon; Kensal Green; West Hampstead and Brackenbury.
It will be a great chance to work within a large, supportive, friendly team across a number of sites, fully utilising your nursing skills in a varied and rewarding role.
We recognise this role requires a high level of flexibility, and this is reflected in the enhanced salary offered.
