Village Vet Maida Vale is located in west London, within walking distance of Warwick Avenue station, (Bakerloo line) close to local amenities & Little Venice
Your role and responsibilities
The Lead Nurse role is key to the business's ability to provide a high level of clinical standards ensuring that patients are managed as effectively as possible from a nursing perspective to support further growth of the practice.
Working enthusiastically with your team you will help maintain a happy, efficient working environment whilst providing outstanding patient and client care.
Nursing duties will include nurse consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia, assisting with procedures and associated peri-operative care.
You would also be working with and providing guidance for our Patient Care Assistant and Student Veterinary Nurse, so a Clinical Coach qualification and a passion for mentoring would also be desirable.
We seek an excellent communicator that is highly organized and is comfortable working with autonomy in a small but busy practice. Support and guidance for the Lead Nurse is provided by Regional Management Team and the Linnaeus Veterinary Nursing Support Team.
- 42 hours per week.
- 4 x 10.5-hour days.
- No weekends.
- 1 x bank holiday at Hospital.
