Your role and responsibilities

Brand new at Paragon, we have a Superficial radiotherapy unit, an Xstrahl 100, that we use to treat pets at our facility.

We are looking for a Therapeutic Radiographer, who may or may not have experience with an Xstrahl or other orthovoltage unit, that may be interested in helping to treat animals at our facility, on a locum basis. This cover role is a support for periods of holiday or cover time which allows us to maintain an excellent radiation service. You will report to an onsite Clinical Director.

Presently we treat animals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9 -10 AM and between 5-6 PM. This may be something that a retired Therapeutic Radiographer, who loves animals may be interested in, or someone who is looking for a little extra work out of hours. You will be fairly autonomous in approach and have no responsibilities for a team directly, however you will work as part of a wider practice team.
