Post Registration Programme Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hours: 40 hours/week

Your role and responsibilities

The Veterinary Nursing Post Registration Programme (PRP) is a 12-month programme that combines both professional skills training with hands on clinical veterinary nursing enabling newly qualified nurses to make the transition from student to successful referral Veterinary Nurse.

You will be working as an RVN in a supportive environment, undertaking the nursing care of patients in a variety of areas to include wards, theatre and diagnostics. You will have an assigned clinical mentor (Preceptor) to support you with any questions and queries and time off Rota to allow you to adapt to your new role and acquire the knowledge you need to thrive in our multidisciplinary referral hospital.
