We are a multi-disciplinary, RCVS accredited specialist lead referral centre within the county of Essex, where we work to the highest standards of veterinary care for pets, creating a seamless experience for them and their owners. We are incredibly proud to have an outstanding team of highly qualified veterinary specialists, that enable the very best care for all patients that come to our practice.

As part of our structured year long programme, you will rotate around core areas of the hospital whilst being supported by a trained preceptor (clinical mentor) and skills supervisors (experts in their nursing area). You will be given five professional development days to enhance your career progression and time off rota each week to learn new skills and improve your knowledge base.

 

Your role and responsibilities

Southfields Veterinary Specialists are currently recruiting for a talented newly qualified RVN to support the existing teams in providing exceptional care to our patients. This is a very exciting time to join Southfields as we prepare to move to a 40,000 sq. ft, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital.

You will work as part of a large nursing team that includes interns, nurses, student veterinary nurses and Patient Care Assistants (PCA) performing nursing tasks in each of the rotational areas. You will grow your skills and knowledge base over the course of the year to become a competent and confident referral RVN.

Due to the continued expansion at Southfields, you will work as a part of the growing team developing procedures and ways of working for the hospital.
