We are a well-established, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) accredited, small animal primary care practice that covers the locations of London, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire. Alongside all our primary care services we also have four 24-hour continuous care hospitals made up of our highly certified specialists and general practice staff to ensure the highest form of veterinary care for the benefit of pets and clients alike.
Your role and responsibilities
Highgate is a beautiful, 2-Vet practice that provides the care of pets of our very committed and loyal client base. This modern practice offers well-maintained facilities including an on-site lab and a dedicated hydrotherapy suite.
You will be joining a supportive and welcoming team and will be responsible for providing outstanding patient care for both medical and surgical cases, supporting the patient journey from admission to discharge.
You will also be responsible for maintaining clear communication lines to ensure the smooth running of all clinical areas and the provision of excellent client care. Nursing duties include consultations, inpatient care, monitoring of anaesthesia, assisting with procedures and associated peri-operative care.
Our talented vets and excellent facilities create an interesting and challenging clinical environment, with many non-routine medical cases and emergency surgeries. Our senior vet also holds a post-graduate certificate in feline medicine and has strong interest in dentistry.
Our nurses are highly valued and an integral part of each patient’s care and this is a practice where your career progression and professional development will be fully supported and encouraged.
Hours: 42hrs/week, Monday – Friday, including 1:4 Saturday mornings (9 am-1 pm)
