Village Vet Highgate is a beautiful, 2-Vet practice, a short walk from Tufnell Park station on the northern line. This modern practice has a loyal client base and a variety of facilities including a separate cat ward and a dedicated hydrotherapy service.


Your role and responsibilities

You would be joining a supportive and welcoming team and will be responsible for providing outstanding patient care for emergency, medical and surgical cases, supporting the patient journey from admission to discharge.

Our senior vet also holds a certificate in feline medicine and has a strong interest in dentistry and we see non-routine medical cases and emergency surgeries too. This is a practice where your career progression and professional development will be fully supported and encouraged.

Nursing duties include consultations, diagnostics, anaesthesia, assisting in theatre and management of associated peri-operative care

Our Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) support our junior associates so an interest in mentoring is an advantage

Our Rota:

  • 42hrs/week - Monday to Friday,
  • 1: 4 Saturdays,
  • 1 x Bank holiday/year,
  • A share of the alternative Out of Hours Rota (EIN 0.5% per year)
