Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team as a Lead Nurse, working 40 hours over a 4 day week or 5 days if you prefer. It will include one in four Saturdays. Shifts will cover all aspects of nursing including inpatient care, anaesthesia, theatre nurse, nurse clinics, radiography, lab work. As a lead nurse, part of your role will include managing your area of responsibility. We offer a varied caseload and areas of interest are encouraged and supported. CPD is provided in-house and externally.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join our friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic nursing team. You will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and work well in a large team. You will be required to manage a small team and work closely with the other lead nurses and the clinical nurse manager to provide a high level of patient care. We are a training practice so being a clinical coach would be beneficial. If you are not, we would be looking to put you through your training.
