We accept referrals for Orthopaedic Surgery, Soft Tissue Surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Cardiology, Anaesthesia, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, Physiotherapy as well as Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) and a Pain Clinic.

We have comprehensive and established clinical and non-clinical programmes for training, development and CPD.

You can find us in Hampshire, just south of Winchester, close to the M3 and national and international transport links. We are in a serene countryside setting with state-of-the-art facilities and are available to look after pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Your role and responsibilities

We are now seeking an additional Surgeon to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to be confident managing a varied soft-tissue and orthopaedic caseload. They will join a team of five experienced ECVS surgeons and three ECVS residents in a well-established residency programme. More junior colleagues will be able to benefit from being part of a highly experienced surgical team with the support that can bring.

This position could suit a surgeon in their first-year post-residency and provision would be given for time off prior to diploma exams.

To be considered for this role, candidates must be:

  • Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) or hold a veterinary degree registrable with the RCVS
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
  • Be an ECVS or ACVS specialist in small animal surgery or have completed a European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) or American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) approved surgical residency programme
