We are a primary care practice for small animals located in North Cheam, London. Being accredited with a gold cat-friendly clinic award and RCVS, we thrive to exceed expectations by providing expert care for our clients and their pets as we dedicate our time to look after them and keeping them healthy.


Your role and responsibilities

We have a fixed-term position available in our Customer Care team. At Maven Vets we aim to provide excellent care both for our patients and their owners. Our Customer Care team are essential in achieving this.

Required Qualifications: Minimum requirements GCSE in English and Maths. Reception or Customer Care experience an advantage.

As part of ensuring excellent customer care, duties will include looking after the reception and client waiting areas, booking appointments, managing incoming phone calls and emails, taking payments and processing client orders. Some administrative duties are also required.

The environment is fast-paced and the workload varies from day to day.

The successful candidate will be welcoming and friendly, confident in working in a busy fast-paced environment, have the ability to manage their workload efficiently and accurately and have good IT skills.

An interest and ease in working around animals is also essential though the role does not include directly working with animals.

This position is for a 6-month fixed contract, working Monday - Friday on a mixture of early shifts 8-2 pm or late shifts 2-8.30 pm and equal share of weekends:1 in 9 full weekends - Saturday 9-4.30pm and Sunday 10-2.30pm plus 1 in 9 Saturdays 9-4pm.
