Eye Vet is a dedicated Ophthalmology practice, established ten years ago, with multi-disciplinary support from nearby Northwest Veterinary Specialists and the Liverpool University small animal teaching hospital.
As well as referral work from the surrounding primary-care veterinary practices, we provide clinical teaching and placements for final year students from the university each week and provide ophthalmology support for Chester zoo. We are a short distance from Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and North Wales.
Your roles and responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our busy Ophthalmology Referral Practice in Cheshire, a short drive from the M56 at Sutton Weaver, near Frodsham. We’re seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist - full time, to join our talented reception team, covering the core hours of 8 am – 6.30 pm on a shift basis.
The successful candidate joining our growing team will ideally have experience working in a veterinary surgery and have excellent communication and client care skills. A knowledge of veterinary referral work would be an advantage, but full training will be given so is not essential. We are looking for someone who is IT literate in the Microsoft packages and also has experience of using different computer systems. The role will cover client care responsibilities, as well as admin responsibilities including processing insurance claims, clinical reports and client accounts.
