Internal Medicine Clinician – 12 month fixed-term contract (End of March 2025 start date)

We are looking for a Small Animal Internal Medicine Clinician to join our team. We welcome applications from already recognised specialists or from candidates who have successfully completed an approved residency programme or certificate holder.

Veterinary Specialists Scotland (VSS) is a multi-disciplinary referral hospital at Deer Park, Livingston, close to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

VSS is conveniently located off junction 3 of the M8 motorway, and also accessible via the M9. Close to both Edinburgh and Glasgow, we are also easily reached from Stirling and the Borders, and for those travelling from further afield, overnight accommodation can be found at one of the many hotels within a 10 minute drive.

Key roles include:

  • Work with the team to further grow and develop the internal medicine department at VSS
  • Work collaboratively with all other services and foster good relationships.
  • Demonstrate professional standards that will advance patient care.
  • Be an ambassador for the team.
