Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon – Saturday Morning Consults
Salary: £13,000 per annum (salary due to weekend position)
Location: Eastcott Veterinary Hospital and Referrals, Swindon
Job Type: Permanent. Part-time
Hours: Saturday mornings, 4 hours per week, working 8.30am – 12.30pm
Eastcott Primary Care department is looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join our Saturday team!
The role is suited to a clinician who enjoys consulting, with no in-patient or procedure responsibility. You will be working on a Saturday morning (08:30-12:30), alongside and supported by two other rotating primary care clinicians who are part of the main weekday team.
We have an incredibly friendly and nurturing Primary Care department and as such, this role would suit a wide range of experiences, from a recent graduate to someone who may be returning from recent parental leave.

Eastcott Veterinary Clinic is situated in North Swindon, our main site is based in Dorcan with our other branch in Old Town. The main hospital is a Tier 3, ISFM Gold Cat Friendly, multidisciplinary veterinary hospital that prides itself on providing high standards of care to both referral and primary care patients.
Our state-of-the-art facilities allow us to provide the best care for our patients, and we encourage our associates to undertake further professional and personal development and provide a friendly and supportive environment in which our teams can flourish and enjoy their work.
We provide 24-hour emergency services and routine primary care for small animals, working separately – albeit closely - with the referral and ECC department.
