Salary: £40,000- £60,000 (depending on experience and further qualifications)

Location: Norwood Veterinary Group – Beverley and Kingswood

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 4 day working week 40hrs (Part-time applications considered)

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team of 8 vets, 10 nurses (8 RVN’s) and 8 support staff.

As a Norwood Vet, you will have the opportunity to use and develop a broad range of clinical and client focused skills and we will encourage you in the development of your areas of special interest. Case continuity is strongly encouraged, while providing support and mentorship where required.

  • 1 weekend in 5( Saturday + Sunday morning)
  • 1 Saturday in 5
  • No OOH

We are a progressive, busy first opinion small animal practice with a good range of diagnostic and surgical equipment, enabling us to work up and treat a wide variety of medical and surgical cases. The practice has a strong collaborative team ethic, always willing to draw on our collective knowledge to ensure our patients receive the very best care possible.

We have strong links with our sister hospital, Wicstun Vets in Market Weighton. As part of the Wicstun Group, we have access to state-of-the-art facilities at the hospital including hydrotherapy, laser treatment, physiotherapy, laparoscopic surgeries, and an imaging suite – including CT.

Our OOH service in provided by our colleagues at Wicstun Hospital.
