Nursing Team

Our Purpose

We must ensure that Linnaeus has a veterinary nursing population which is supported and developed in order to reach its full potential in its ability to deliver best patient care.

This will be achieved by providing a career framework which facilitates the skill set development of the veterinary nursing population throughout their entire career.

Linnaeus Strategic Priorities

Building on the key challenges facing veterinary nursing, three strategic pillars have been identified to allow Linnaeus to nurture a veterinary nursing population which is supported and developed in order to reach its full potential.

Veterinary Nursing Senior Team Structure

The Linnaeus Nursing Team has been shaped around the strategic priorities.

The Veterinary Nursing Central Support team was formed in April 2019 when the Chief Nursing Officer Andrea Jeffery was appointed. Since then the team has expanded and is now made up of four sub teams. Each of these teams has a clearly defined role in progressing our Linnaeus Nursing Team to allow for a lifetime of commitment to excellence in all that they do.
