Business Relationship Manager

Location: Remote with base at Eastcott Referrals, Swindon
Reporting to: Hospital Director

Contract type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £42,000 per year plus car allowance

About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Business Relationship Manager to join us at Eastcott Referrals, our multidisciplinary veterinary hospital based in Swindon.

This fantastic field-based role is key to driving referral growth by building strong relationships with local veterinary practices and increasing awareness of the referral centre’s specialist services.

Working closely with the Hospital Director, senior leadership team, and Marketing team, you will deliver targeted engagement plans aligned to business growth objectives.

This is a full time, permanent role that will see you travelling 4 days a week to build new client relationships while nurturing existing ones, and 1 day a week working on administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referring and primary care veterinary practices

  • Drive referral growth in line with agreed targets and budgets

  • Develop and deliver a local business relationship and engagement plan

  • Increase awareness of the centre’s specialists, services, and CPD offering

  • Plan and deliver practice visits, CPD events, open days, and local engagement activity

  • Analyse referral data to identify priority practices and growth opportunities

  • Gather feedback from practices to improve services and referral experience

  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure all activity aligns with brand and delivers ROI

About you

Essential

  • Proven experience in relationship management, business development & sales, and stakeholder engagement

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively as part of a field-based role

  • Data-driven, organised, and able to work autonomously

  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and commercially focused

Desirable

  • Field-based experience within healthcare, veterinary, or service-led realities

  • Degree or relevant professional qualification (or equivalent experience)
