Clinical Education
We have a collaborative approach to education, with the Medical and Nursing teams working closely to deliver clinical education content that supports a whole team approach to care delivery.
Many of our courses, such as our canine and feline friendly courses and our pet bereavement course, are suitable for the whole veterinary team.
Alongside our team-focused courses, we deliver tailored content to support all our Associates to reach their full potential and have fulfilling career journeys.
Clinical quality
At Linnaeus, we view providing high-quality clinical care as an ongoing proceed of continuous improvement, rather than a goal to be reached.
We believe there is always room to improve and constantly ask what we can do better.
Read MoreClinical research
Our clinical research ideas stem from clinical practice. They are focused on the needs of our patients and their owners, to improve the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and prevention of naturally occurring disorders in patients.
Linnaeus clinicians are leaders in their fields and their clinical research outputs contribute directly to the body of evidence to support decision making by veterinary professionals and pet owners.
The results of our research are disseminated nationally and internationally to benefit the wider veterinary and scientific community and the general public.
Veterinary Nursing Support Team
The Veterinary Nursing Central Support Team was formed in April 2019 and has since expanded and split into four sub teams.
This includes the Pre-registration Experience, Professional Development, Post Registration Programme and Field Nursing team.
Clinical board
The establishment of the Linnaeus clinical board is a testament of Linnaeus’ commitment to support our practice teams, enabling them to offer the highest standards of client service and the highest quality of care to our patients across all our sites.
Medical Team
The Linnaeus Medical Team is comprised of dedicated veterinary professionals who are experts in their fields. Headed up by David Walker, our team works closely with everyone in Linnaeus to help our front-line teams deliver genuine clinical excellence and achieve our purpose: A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS.
Our four primary areas of focus are:
- Veterinary leadership
- Clinical education
- Clinical standards and quality
- Clinical research and excellence
