Would you like to be able to provide exceptional care in a supportive, collegiate, multi-disciplinary setting? We need your expertise, skill, and enthusiasm in the cardiology service at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists.

Anderson Moores is a truly multidisciplinary referral practice providing specialist-led referral services across the South of England. Our services include Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Cardiology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Oncology, Neurology, Anaesthesiology, Physiotherapy, Dentistry and Diagnostic Imaging.

We have a varied caseload including plenty of unusual and challenging cases and a close-knit, enthusiastic team. We continue to expand our clinical services and believe in a team approach to cases. Clinicians are supported by a team of highly qualified registered veterinary nurses and nursing assistants. We have to rotate and service-specific intern programmes along with well-established residency programmes in many of our disciplines.

We are located in the beautiful Hampshire countryside just outside the historic city of Winchester, which is only 50 minutes from London by train. Southampton airport, the coast and the New Forest and South Downs national parks are all on our doorstep.


Your role and responsibilities 

We are looking for an additional cardiologist to join our friendly and supportive team. Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists have a large multidisciplinary team of specialists and nurses. You will work closely with well-established imaging, medicine, neurology, anaesthesia and soft tissue teams.

You will ideally be a specialist in cardiology although we would also welcome applications from residency-trained clinicians.

To be considered for the role, candidates must:

  • Have experience of working independently and working well as part of a team
  • Be an MRCVS or FRCVS and hold a veterinary degree registrable with the RCVS
  • Be residency trained
  • Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

Reporting to: Head of cardiology

Hours: Full-time and part-time hours will be considered
