Job Title: Cleaner

Salary: £8.922.48 per annum

Location: Wildbore Vetstop

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Hours: 13.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday - Saturday: 6am - 7.15am

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our friendly veterinary practice. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment for our clients, patients and staff.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of cleanliness in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Cleaning and sanitising consult rooms and communal areas, both clinical and non clinical.
  • Sweeping, mopping vacuuming and dusting floors and surfaces.
  • Cleaning staff areas, waiting areas as well as toilets and kitchens.
  • Emptying of bins and disposal of waste safely and appropriately.
  • Using cleaning products and equipment correctly, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to management.
  • Attending and completing all health and safety training, including fire training and manual handling.
  • This role requires some light lifting.

About you.

  • Previous cleaning experience is essential, cleaning of a clinical setting is highly advantageous.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently where needed.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with animals.
  • Good understanding of hygiene standards and COSHH, particularly in a clinical setting.
