Job Title: Client and Pet Care Advisor (Dudley Branch)
Salary: £26,707.20 FTE pro-rated to £25,038.00 per annum
Location: Predominantly based at our Dudley Branch but additional cover may be required at all 5 Blacks Vets sites as per the sickness and holiday requirements of the reception team.
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 weekly, mixture of shifts between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, and 1 shift on either a Saturday or Sunday per month. Plus 1 Bank Holiday per year.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Client and Pet Care Advisor to join our team.
Our Client and Pet Care Advisors are the face of the business and first port of call for our clients, so ‘friendly professionalism’ is essential.
Roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Promptly responding to calls and emails
General veterinary administration, including appointments and insurance
Payment handling, debt chasing, and end-of-day banking
Guiding pet owners through their sometimes complicated and emotionally challenging pet journeys
Competent medication handling and dispensing
General housekeeping and practice maintenance
Reception cover across all 5 of our sites, potentially at short notice. This is a great way to gain experience and understanding of many parts of the business, aiding towards progression routes.

Flexibility with working pattern (both time and location)
Experience:
Veterinary industry experience is not crucial, but helpful
Customer-facing experience is also beneficial
