Job Title: Client Care Associate (Veterinary Receptionist)

Salary: £20,820 (FTE £23,795)

Location: St Clair Veterinary Group, Kirkcaldy

Job Type: Permanent, 9 Months - Fixed Term

Hours: 40 Hours per week

We are looking for someone to welcome clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking for a temporary role with a fixed-term contract for 9 months.


The role provides valuable experience and an ideal chance to work alongside a talented team.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Manage and deal with appointment bookings professionally and efficiently. 

  • Support the business with a range of administrative duties. 

  • Dispensing medication. 

  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and still maintain a high level of customer service and complete all tasks to a high standard. 

  • Show awareness of financial control within the practice. 

  • Be happy to discuss financial issues with clients if needs be 

  • Management of the practice diary to ensure all patients are booked in efficiently. 

  • Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards. 

  • Cleaning the consultation and waiting areas throughout the day. 

  • Serving clients and taking payments, advising customers on products and services. 

  • Banking duties.
