Job Title: Clinical Nursing Manager

Practice: Cherrydown Vets, Basildon
Salary: £36,000 Pro-rata (Negotiable depending on experience) 

Job Type: 6 month fixed term contract

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week between 8am and 8pm, 1 in 4 weekends.

About the role

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, your average week will consist of approximately 3 clinical days, 1 admin day and some home working. Part of the role is to ensure that the nursing team across the business is managed as effectively as possible to support the growth of the practice.

You'll work closely with the Lead Nurses to identify areas of development needs within the nursing team to maintain a happy, efficient working environment, whilst ensuring practice policies and group policies are always adhered to.

It's very important to demonstrate knowledge of the RCVS Day One Skills and Competencies, Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Nurses (on-the-job, in structured practical sessions and/or in tutorials) that is evidenced on the rota to receive appropriate support from a Clinical Supervisor.

We understand the importance of career development and encourage CPD as well as providing over 25 hours of CPD in house which is delivered by our Personal development team as well as £500 CPD allowance.
