Oncology Clinician (12 month FTC)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a board-certified or residency- trained oncologist to join our dedicated oncology team at Northwest Veterinary Specialists on a full or part-time, 12 month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be expected to start end Sept/ early Oct 2025.

We have a strong and supportive oncology team with three board-certified oncologists and four dedicated oncology nurses. Our purpose-built oncology suite offers a dedicated chemotherapy room, and advanced therapies including lymph node mapping, electrochemotherapy and superficial radiation. We have a busy and varied caseload and pride ourselves on ensuring that we provide an outstanding service to our patients and clients.

The role 

As an oncology clinician, you will manage a wide range of challenging and rewarding cases. Supported by a highly skilled team of nurses, anaesthetists, imaging and surgery specialists you will be empowered to develop innovative treatment plans and techniques that ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.  

What we’re looking for 

  • Board-certified or residency-trained in small animal oncology (ECVIM/ACVIM) 

  • A passion for small animal oncology and commitment to providing exceptional patient care 

  • A collaborative mindset, keen to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
