Job Title: Internal Medicine Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role
This is a dedicated internal medicine position, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in one discipline and take ownership of your development within it.
You’ll work with a diverse and medically complex caseload, including:
Endocrine disorders
Gastrointestinal disease
Respiratory conditions
Renal and urinary cases
Infectious diseases
Complex chronic case management
Oncology-related conditions
This role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys inpatient care, case continuity, and being closely involved in patient progress and outcomes.
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Shifts scheduled between 8am and 8pm
1:8 weekends with days off in the following week
1 designated bank holiday per year
Typically worked across a structured rota
Training & Support
You’ll be supported from day one with a clear and structured onboarding process designed to build your confidence within internal medicine:
Structured induction plan
Shadowing within the internal medicine team
Early one-to-one check-ins with clinical support
Gradual progression into full responsibilities
You’ll be working alongside nurses with a range of experience levels, creating a balanced and supportive learning environment.
About You
We’re looking for an RVN who is motivated to grow within internal medicine and take an active role in their development.
Qualified RVN
At least 1 year post-qualification experience
Strong interest in internal medicine and inpatient care
Referral experience beneficial but not essential
Proactive and motivated approach to learning
We are open to less experienced candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, commitment, and enthusiasm for the discipline.
