Are you seeking a new opportunity in a thriving practice with an amazing team and plenty of opportunities for growth and development? Keep reading! We're looking for a Lead Nurse to join our Brackenbury team and would love to hear from you.
We are recruiting for an RVN with 2 years post qualification experience to work alongside the clinical team and develop this practice. We seek an excellent communicator that is highly organised and is comfortable working with autonomy in a small but busy practice.
The Lead Nurse role is key to the business ability to provide a high level of clinical standards ensuring that patients are managed as effectively as possible from a nursing perspective to support further growth of the practice.
Working enthusiastically with the Head Vet, you will demonstrate an excellent work protocol in all nursing duties while taking overall responsibility for a specific area of the practice.
The Lead Nurse would organise and oversee patient flow on a day to day basis to ensure the most effective and efficient approach to the workload. Identifying and improving the efficiency of the patient pathway from admission through to discharge while ensuring that practice policies and group policies are adhered to support the provision of outstanding patient and client care.
Nursing duties will include nurse consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia, assisting with procedures and associated peri-operative care.
You would also be working with and providing guidance for our Patient Care Assistants and any potential and Student Veterinary Nurses, so a Clinical Coach qualification and a passion for mentoring would also be desirable but not a necessity.
You will be working alongside a very experienced client care team, including a Lead CCA who is responsible for the non-clinical aspects of running the branch so this role would be ideal for someone who enjoys all aspects of nursing and wants to take their first steps into a leadership role.
The Nursing Career Framework is designed to support career progression and development and supports clinically focussed pathways and a people leadership pathway.
Our Nurse Career Framework also supports a competitive salary reflecting skills, and experience held while identifying future goals and opportunities
