Village Vet has a rare and interesting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to work at our Royston practice on the border of Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

The shift patterns can be flexible as we can accommodate a Part- or Full-time rota, and we may be able to accommodate school hours.  

The practice is opposite the train station and only an 14-minute commute from the centre of Cambridge. As the sole vet you will work with an experienced and friendly team, serving an established and loyal client base in the heart of the community. Working alongside an excellent nurse team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day veterinary work and contribute towards the performance of the practice. You will also have the support from the nearby Whittlesford hospital with the option of working with the excellent team there one day a week if wanted.

  • Patient/Clinical care - Working to high level of clinical care within a team. Village Vet prides itself on working to an excellent standard of care and supports RCVS Practice Standards Scheme 
  • Client care - We strive for exceptional levels of client service and satisfaction 
  • Teamwork - Working within your team, and the wider hospital teams, to contribute your skills, efforts and personal strengths to help ensure a harmonious team ethos  

Rota: Part or Full time. 24-42 hours a week - Monday to Friday, 1:4 Saturdays (9am 1pm)
