Salary: Starting from £19,065.50/annum (inclusive of enhanced weekend rate), depending on experience
Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists are seeking an RVN to join our friendly, close knit nursing team in Winchester, Hampshire.
About the Role
This is a part time permanent position. The working hours are:
• Friday nights and 1:3 Wednesday night shifts (8pm-8am). Plus participation in the weekend rotation - 1:4 Saturday Twilight shifts and Bank Holiday rotation.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with proven experience in a similar role
• Has good organisational and communication skills
• Works well in a busy environment
• Has a proactive 'can do' attitude
• Is eligible to work in the UK.
You’ll be working alongside a wonderful team including a very supportive PCA team, and you’ll be fully supported by the whole nursing team.
About the Practice
Anderson Moores is in a serene countryside setting with state-of-the-art facilities and are available to look after pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Night Nurse you will predominantly be based in our wards areas. Our night nurses are an integral part of the team; constantly working to the highest standards to ensure our patients are comfortable and able to recover during their stay in wards.
You will enjoy nursing a wide range of cases, using your knowledge and skills to ensure each individual patient receives the care they require. Including: specialised diets, medications, pain relief, physiotherapy, catheter and drain care, mental stimulation and wound management.
You will work closely with the clinicians, anaesthetists, patient care assistants, twilight team and the day nurse teams.
