VSS is looking for an Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team within our purpose-built rapidly growing referral centre.

The service has a full inventory of synthes standard and locking equipment for internal fixation, and a complete holding of Imex equipment for circular, linear and hybrid external fixation. A complete set of BioMedtrix instrumentation for total hip replacement from nano, through mini to standard and extended sets. A great fluoroscopy unit facilitates minimally invasive or image-guided surgical techniques, alongside a 4K Storz arthroscopy system with associated Arthrex instrumentation.

A 64 slice CT scanner, two direct digital radiology detectors, and diagnostic ultrasound, shortly to be joined by on-site high field MRI complete the imaging modalities available.

VSS is located near to the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, or for those who prefer the great outdoors, the Scottish Highlands and coastline are all within easy reach.
