Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Folly Gardens Veterinary Clinic, Tewkesbury

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Wednesdays (8-10 hour shift) and 1:3 Saturdays 8am - 1pm

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience

About us

We are a busy practice with an exciting caseload including laparoscopic techniques, Endoscopy, radiography and advanced imaging including CT.  We have vets that specialise in orthopaedics and advanced soft tissue surgery, medicine, dermatology and have a visiting ophthalmologist. We are a 4 branch practice in the Tewkesbury and Cheltenham area. You will be based in the main clinic in Walton Cardiff Tewkesbury but we also have a first opinion clinic in Bishops Cleeve and Leckhampton and a branch within Tewkesbury offering routine consultations, which you may be required to work at any of the above practices to provide holiday cover.

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking nurse who would like to develop within a caring team. At Folly Gardens nurses are well utilised so we are looking for someone proficient in basic nursing tasks including nurse consultations and anaesthesia

Ideally you will work either an 8 or 10 hour day every Wednesday and Saturdays on a rota basis 1 in 3 8am-1pm. NO bank holidays, Sundays, in patient checks or OOHs.
