Job Title: Patient Care Assistant

Location: Veterinary Vision - Penrith

Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 5 days per week, 8 hours

Shifts: 8:30am - 5pm, 9am - 5.30pm and 9.30am - 6pm

Your role and responsibilities

Veterinary Vision are looking for a Patient Care Assistant to build our team at our Penrith branch. The role will involve: assisting the clinical team during consultations, looking after hospitalised inpatients, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at all times, and reception/administration duties.

You will ideally have experience working with animals in a veterinary surgery but this is not essential as training will be provided.

Competitive salary, plus additional payments for overtime.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours.

Veterinary Vision offers a dedicated ophthalmology referral service for cases referred throughout the UK, with 4 sites in Lancashire, Penrith, Sunderland and Glasgow. We are equipped with state-of-the-art operating facilities for all types of ocular surgery in a friendly, caring environment where the well-being of the patient is our top priority.
