Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join Gower Veterinary Surgery!
Receptionists are integral to creating the first impression of our practice. Clients and visitors should be welcomed in a warm, friendly, courteous and professional manner.
Applicants must be friendly and personable, with excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in customer facing roles preferable, but not required.
Growth within the role is encouraged and successful applicants will be given British Veterinary Association (BVRA) training. There will also be career progression opportunities available.
Roles and responsibilities:
Welcoming and registering new customers.
Booking in customers and diary management
Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries
Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc
Processing prescription requests
Taking payments
Promoting offers and services
Ensuring that public areas are clean and presentable
