We are a well-established, RCVS accredited, small animal primary care practice that covers the locations of London, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire. Alongside all our primary care services we also have four 24-hour continuous care hospitals made up of our highly certified specialists and general practice staff to ensure the highest form of veterinary care for the benefits of pets and clients alike. 

Winchmore Hill is part of the borough of Enfield, North London.  The practice is located within walking distance of Winchmore Hill overground station, close to local amenities & shops.

 

Your role and responsibilities

Village Vet Winchmore Hill are expanding their nursing team. This Registered Veterinary Nurse vacancy is an amazing opportunity to work in a forward-thinking large veterinary practice.

Winchmore Hill is a thriving, dynamic clinic with overnight care that means we see a wide variety of interesting and rewarding cases and all of our nurses really get to nurse! 

This role can offer: 

  • Gold standard patient and customer care through the excellent facilities and experienced clinical team
  • Exposure to complex cases including orthopaedic surgeries and certificate level medical cases 
  • Overnight inpatient care that is provided onsite to optimise patient care continuity 
  • A dedicated, talented and committed clinical team who really help and support each other 
  • The ability to run nurse clinics to develop skills in nutrition, geriatric health, puppy and kitten behaviour 
  • Opportunity for career development with clinical coaching qualification or further study actively encouraged and supported

Hours

  • 42 hours a week over five days
  • 1:6 Saturdays (time off in lieu) and Sundays paid additionally 
  • 1 bank holiday per year (given back as lieu and paid).
