Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse

Salary: Up to £30,000 (D.O.E.)

Location: Riversmeet Veterinary Centre in Tamworth

Job Type: 12-month, fixed-term contract (to cover maternity leave)

Hours: Average 40 hours per week (including weekend rota).
4 day week with the same set day off. 1 in 6 full Saturdays (08:30-17:00) and 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (08:30-13:00).

We have a rare opportunity to welcome a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team on a 12 month fixed term contract!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Riversmeet Veterinary Centre in Tamworth, providing excellent patient care, practice support and meeting client's needs.

We predominantly care for cats and dogs across the Staffordshire area, but we occasionally see small furries and even the odd chicken! No two days are the same here!

As an RVN you would be joining our 8-week rolling rota. Your day-to-day role would include a mixture of routine, advanced and ECC cases. Depending on your area of interest, you would likely see at least 1 day of surgery per week.

We often have regular Vet meetings, and you will have the chance for support or to share clinical knowledge/discuss cases. Case continuity is important to us, where possible and we pride ourselves on building a great rapport with our clients.

Riversmeet Veterinary Centre was established over 100 years ago and is a small animal primary care practice in Staffordshire and Warwickshire.

As a practice, we are really proud of our closely knit, supportive team.
We are all motivated individuals who are passionate about high standards and the pets in our care.

We are a 9 Veterinary Surgeon team, with a certificate holder in Ophthalmology. Investing in our associates and professional development is important to us and is actively encouraged here.
Three Vet Surgeons within the team are also working towards certificates including in Surgery and ECC.
