About the Role

Bay Vets is looking for 2-3 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) to join our friendly and supportive small animal team.  Our team includes 22 RVNs, 5 SVNS and 4 PCA's , working collaboratively across four practices located close to the beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated RVN who enjoys working as part of a busy, supportive team and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care. We have vacancies for an RVN at our Lancaster, Morecambe & Milnthorpe sites, so please speak to us if you have a location and shift preference.  Reporting to the Clinical Nursing Manager or Lead Veterinary Nurse, you will play an important role in maintaining high clinical standards and ensuring patients receive excellent care throughout their time in practice.

Our practices offer a varied first opinion and referral caseload, including orthopaedics, spinal surgery, soft tissue surgery and medicine. With access to an in-house CT scanner, this role provides a great opportunity to develop and expand your nursing skills in a varied and rewarding clinical environment.

You will work closely with the veterinary and nursing teams to support the smooth running of the practice, assisting with patient care from admission through to discharge. The role will involve a mix of responsibilities including inpatient care, theatre nursing, consultations, and supporting diagnostic procedures.

We are looking for someone who is organised, compassionate, and a strong communicator, with a proactive approach to teamwork and patient care.

Working Pattern

  • Full time or Part time
  • Weekend rota: 1 in 5 weekend days (shared fairly across the team)
