• Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: 110 Boundary Road, St Johns Wood, London Hours: Full time Practice: Village Vet (St Johns Wood) Salary: £24,000 to £30,000 depending on experience Practice Details Village Vet (St Johns Wood)

We are a well-established, RCVS accredited, small animal Primary Care Practice that covers the locations of London, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire. Alongside all our primary care services we also have four 24-hour continuous care hospitals made up of our highly certified specialists and general practice staff to ensure the highest form of veterinary care for the benefits of pets and clients alike.

Your role and responsibilities

Village Vet are seeking a client-focused Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their team across the St Johns Wood and Primrose Hill sites to help deliver an exceptionally high level of client and patient care.

These clinics are located in a prestigious area of London, are modern and well presented, as well as being well equipped.

The team consists of 2 Vets, 2 RVNS and a Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN). Although we have a dedicated Client Care team, this role would suit an RVN who loves working with people as much as they love working with pets as our team take great pride in building very strong client relationships.

Primrose Hill is predominately our consulting clinic, with procedures and surgeries carried out at St Johns Wood. Your duties would be shared with another RVN across both sites on a rota basis.

The duties include supporting the Vets during consultations, as well as all aspects of surgical nursing, assisting with procedures and imaging, monitoring anaesthetics and caring for patients pre and post-op.

Our nurses also run their own clinics, so experience in consulting or a desire to do so would be advantageous.

You would be joining a close-knit, welcoming team who really support each other, enjoy working together and have a tradition of take-away team lunch every Friday!

We are committed to training the next generation of RVNs, so Clinical Coach training would be provided and encouraged, if you have no prior coaching experience.

Extensive opportunities for your own learning and professional development are also provided and heavily supported.
