Hours: 40 per week
Salary: £30,000 onwards DOE
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Palmerston Veterinary Group is a busy, well-established practice with a friendly and supportive team. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate RVN to join our growing nursing team and play an active role in delivering excellent patient care.
The Role
As an RVN at Palmerston, you will be involved in all areas of clinical nursing, including:
- Inpatient care and monitoring
- Nurse consultations
- Anaesthesia and surgical nursing
- Laboratory work and diagnostics
- Client communication and education
- Supporting vets in consultations and procedures
There is genuine scope to develop your interests and take on additional responsibilities in line with your experience and career goals.

Rota and Work-Life Balance
- Fair and manageable rota with a mix of early and late shifts
- Occasional work across all sites as required
- Shared Saturday rota (1 in 6)

- RCVS registered (or eligible) Veterinary Nurse
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, caring and professional approach
- Confidence working in a busy practice
- Newly qualified nurses welcome; full support and mentoring available
