We are a well-established, RCVS accredited, small animal primary care practice that covers the locations of London, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire. Alongside all our primary care services we also have a 24-hour continuous care hospital made up of our highly certified specialists and general practice staff to ensure the highest form of veterinary care for the benefits of pets and clients alike. We have been awarded with ‘Hospital’ status under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme and have all the equipment you would expect us to, including full diagnostic facilities, an on-site lab, a dedicated ICU ward, separate cat/dog wards, and full theatre and dental suites.

 

Your role and responsibilities

Village Vet is recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse - Nights (RVN) to join our 24hr hospital in Milton, Cambridgeshire.

You will be working as part of our experienced, and talented dedicated night team consisting of one vet, two RVNs and a Patient Client Care (PCA), who are all are incredibly committed to delivering the best possible care to our clients and patients.

We have a highly stimulating and rewarding caseload and this is, therefore, a fantastic opportunity for an RVN wishing to develop in their Emergency and Critical Care skills and interest, with some of our night nurses already holding advanced certificates in emergency and client care (ECC).

We are looking for a pro-active, dedicated RVN with at least two years of post-registration experience.

Hours: Night shifts, 7 on 7 off, 45.5 hours/week average
