We are a well-established, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) accredited, small animal primary care practice that covers the locations of London, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire. Alongside all our primary care services we also have four 24-hour continuous care hospitals made up of our highly certified specialists and general practice staff to ensure the highest form of veterinary care for the benefits of pets and clients alike. 

Your role and responsibilities

Village Vet is recruiting for an experienced and pro-active Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their night team at the 24hr hospital in Hampstead, NW London.

You will be working as part of our experienced, and talented dedicated night team consisting of one vet, two RVNs and a Patient Care Assistant (PCA), who are all are incredibly committed to delivering the best possible care to our clients and patients.

Our hospital is exceptionally well equipped and is set out across 4 floors. We have everything you would expect us to, including full diagnostic facilities, an on-site laboratory, a dedicated Intenstive Care Unit (ICU), separate cat/dog wards, and full theatre suite.

As well as our own inpatients, we provide overnight care for the London Vet Specialists patients, which provides a highly stimulating and rewarding caseload. It is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN wishing to have exposure to referral patients, as well as develop in their Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) skills and interest, with some of our night nurses already holding advanced certificates in ECC.

This is a full time position, working nights, on a five on 10 off shift pattern.
