Job Title: Rotating Registered Veterinary Nurse

Salary: From £31,500

Location: NDSR

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hrs/week – Full time – Shifts range between 7:30-20:30.

Your role and responsibilities

We require a full-time RVN to join our day nursing team.

You will work as part of our large, multi-disciplinary team consisting of fellow RVN’s, Clinicians, Residents, Interns, and Nursing Assistants. You will see a large and varied caseload, allowing you to work within an exceptional team and develop your career whilst being exposed to cases from a variety of disciplines. This is a rewarding and challenging role that will require teamwork and dedication to each service and their patients.

Shifts run between 7.30am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday, with weekend duties once every 6 weeks (with 2 days of in lieu the following week) on a 40 hour/week basis.

You will rotate through different departments in our hospital and utilise the nursing skills for which you have trained. You will work within one of our five Wards, and within our Diagnostics and Theatre departments.

We have a team of night nurses, so there will be no regular night shifts. Referral experience is not essential as full training is given within a comprehensive induction programme.

As our services continue to expand, we have exciting opportunities available for RVNs. Nursing Pathways, our innovative new nursing structure, places an emphasis on individualised career progression opportunities, whilst maintaining and developing your veterinary nursing skills.

This is an opportunity not to be missed for friendly, enthusiastic nurses wishing to develop their career.
