Salary: Up to £33,100 per annum
Plus Twilight Allowance: £2000 per annum
Hours: 2pm until 10pm
Are you an RVN with a passion for surgery and emergency care, looking for a role that delivers clinical challenge, professional growth, and a genuinely supportive team culture.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Theatre Nursing Team, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 2:00pm and 10:00pm.
This role is ideal for a confident, motivated RVN who thrives in a fast paced referral environment and enjoys being at the heart of surgical patient care.
The Role
As a Twilight Surgery RVN, you will play a vital role in supporting our evening and emergency surgical caseload, working closely with our surgeons, anaesthetists, nursing colleagues and interns.
Your role will include:
Supporting emergency and urgent surgical cases
Acting as a scrub nurse across a wide range of advanced procedures
Anaesthetic monitoring for complex referral cases
Assisting with theatre preparation, recovery, and patient flow
Maintaining the highest standards of infection control, patient safety, and theatre practice
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital team

About You

Are a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Have a strong interest in surgery, anaesthesia, or emergency care

Take pride in delivering outstanding nursing care
Previous referral experience is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from motivated RVNs keen to develop their skills within a specialist setting.
