Job Title: Twilight RVN
Location: Leigh, Manchester
Hours: On average 35 hours per week , 4pm - 2am - 5 days on 5 days off , 2 days on 2 days off.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata - with £250 per month OOH supplement
Our busy first opinion 24hr Veterinary Hospital, based in Leigh near Manchester requires an enthusiastic veterinary nurse to help during the night.
Role and Responsibilities
The role is a Twilight Nurse role circulating through all departments to include theatre, consults, pharmacy, emergency and inpatient care. The shift is 4pm till 2am on a rolling pattern of 5 days working, 5 days off work, 2 days working and 2 days off work. This allows a great work life balance. This is an average of 35hrs per week.
You will be working alongside our dedicated and experienced Night Team, over night it is a sole charge Night Vet, Night RVN and Night PCA. We are a very hands-on nursing team with plenty of chance to use all your nursing skills including schedule 3 activities.
The practice is friendly, forward thinking and encourages nurse progression through various CPD avenues, many of our current staff have or are participating in certificates and further nurse training.
While we are open to consider varying levels of experience, this is a role that requires strong confidence working in a busy hospital
