Twilight Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists, Winchester
Job Type: Permanent, Part Time (26 hours/week)
Salary: From £21,750 per annum (26 hours/week, incl. enhanced weekend rate, DOE) – Full-Time Equivalent: £30,500 per annum
Plus £1,000 on start date + £1,000 after probation

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys delivering gold-standard patient care during quieter evening hours. Working 4pm–10:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, you’ll be a key part of our wards team, ensuring our patients receive the very best care as they rest and recover.

You’ll nurse a wide range of medical and surgical cases no two shifts are ever the same. You’ll use and grow your skills in:

• Pain management and recovery support
• Catheter and drain care
• Nutrition plans and specialised diets
• Wound management
• Medication administration
• Physiotherapy and mental stimulation
• Theatre and anaesthesia (via our procedure shift rotation)

You’ll work closely with clinicians, anaesthetists, day nurses, night teams and our fantastic PCAs, with full support throughout every shift.

A 1:4 Saturday twilight shift (4pm–midnight) and participation in the Bank Holiday rota is included.

• Confident working in a busy referral setting
