Village Vet Hampstead has a new fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our excellent hospital team. You will be taking cases in the hospital, some consultations and surgery rotation, developing client relationships, increase revenue and ensure quality contextual care is given to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Working to a high level of clinical care within the team. Village Vet prides itself on working to a very high standard of care and supports RCVS Practice Standards Scheme to which we hold a Hospital accreditation.
- Client Care We strive for exceptional levels of client service and satisfaction which involve responding in a timely manner to consult related complaints.
- Teamwork Working within your team, and the wider hospital teams, to contribute your skills, efforts and personal strengths to help ensure a harmonious team ethos at all times
- Management team You will be fully supported and developed to allow you to grow and achieve your full potential.
Village Vet Hampstead is a 24-hour RCVS accredited small animal hospital which provides quality contextual care for its own patients as well as providing out of hours and emergency cover to over 32 primary care clinics and a specialist referral clinic in the North London area. It is an amazing place to see a unique caseload surrounded by like-minded staff who want to provide the very best care.
We have a team of dedicated vets and nurses and allied support from our neighbouring referral arm; London Veterinary Specialists. The dynamic team currently consists of over 18 Veterinary Surgeons with varying degrees of experience from certificate holders to junior doctors, over 16 RVNs, 5 Student Nurses, 6 Pet Care Assistants and a well-staffed reception, admin and support staff team.
Rota: 32hrs per week 1:2 Weekends Sat and Sun. Weekday hours can be flexible.
