Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon

Salary: Up to £60,000 (D.O.E.) plus £4,000 welcome bonus (direct applicants)

Location: Gower Veterinary Surgery, Swansea

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 4 days per week, Saturdays on a rota of 1 in 6 (Saturday 9 am-1 pm) no OOH

Are you a Vet looking to work with a progressive and knowledgeable team?

Due to our ever-expanding caseload, we are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join us. You will join a team of progressive and knowledgeable Vets with multiple certificate holders. It would be great if you have an orthopaedic bias, however, this isn't essential. We see a good mix of surgical and medical caseloads including a small amount of exotics. Certificates are well support and encouraged.

We have meeting days once a month where we block off consultations and meet as a team. This allows us to share information and ideas we promote active case discussion between vets. We also time given for individuals to focus on projects they want to work on, or the time is used for personal development.

We offer time off in lieu of any overtime worked and give associates opportunities to take on additional paid responsibilities, we also run an employee of the month scheme, practice book club and have enjoyed a few retreat days together spending the weekend relaxing in a hot tub!

We are a Primary Care Practice for small animals, which established itself amongst the Swansea community, providing care for thousands of pets every year. Being RCVS accredited, we are dedicated to continuously improving our quality of care and service. We are a modern practice with a good range of equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy (and rigid endoscopy), ligasure, full orthopaedic kit and dental radiography.
