Salary: £45,000 per annum

Location: Wicstun Market - Weighton

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 40 Hours, 1:4 weekends, No OOH

Your role and responsibilities

Wicstun Vets are looking for a recent graduate Vet Surgeon to join their team.

We’re progressive, supportive, and keen to develop our people. We are proud to have our own dedicated OOH nursing team, so we provide the very best care, 24/7. We have three sites within the group and work closely with 3 sister practices in the local area. You will be predominately based at our hospital with occasional work at other sites. As a Wicstun Vet Surgeon you will have the opportunity to use and develop a broad range of clinical and client focussed skills. We will support you in the development of your areas of special interest. We are lucky to have certificate holders in both small animal surgery and small animal medicine within the senior veterinary team. We are currently supporting several vets with their certificates in surgery, CT and ECC.

Our rota offers great work/ life balance, and a generous package awaits the right person. We value our vets and are happy to consider all working patterns to suit you, and your life. We can provide accommodation to any vet looking to relocate to the area too with our self-contained flat at the hospital.

No OOH initially, OOH is on a shared rota (following an in-house mentorship programme).
