Your role and responsibilities
If you are a Veterinary Surgeon either looking for the next step in your career or to have the right practice and caseload in which to fully utilise your skills, we want to hear from you.
Whether you prefer branch or hospital work, with a choice of sites we would love to hear from you to see how we could support your next move. Being a large site, we can accommodate different interests and so would love to have a chat with you to discuss the opportunities that we can offer.
Avonvale Veterinary Centre was established over 45 years ago and has since grown to a 7-site practice with an experienced team of 30 vets and 40 nurses. We are highly equipped with a hydrotherapy unit, CT, video endoscopy, laparoscopy and an orthopaedic service enabling us to provide the highest standards of patient care whilst supporting our vets with a wide range of interests. With a diverse range of certificate holders, we are also keen to offer our vets and nurses support and mentorship to explore and complete further CPD and certification in their area of choice.
Our dedicated night service is situated at our central hospital site in Warwick providing case continuity. As an added bonus, our night team only supports our own clinics ensuring that our patients receive a high level of care. The vet team is led by 4 Clinical Directors who ensure that individuals feel supported and that teams collaborate and encourage discussion in regular M&M and vet meetings.
