Job Title: Veterinary surgeon
Salary: Up to 60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: My Vets Pets – Manchester (Leigh)
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 4 days (8.30am – 6.30pm) and one in five weekends (8.30am – 6.30pm) followed by a three-day working week with no solo working.
Your role and responsibilities
Due to our continued success, we are looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to the team at our busy first opinion My Vets Pets Veterinary Hospital.
We would welcome any certificate holders or Individuals working towards or looking to start a certificate will find us an experienced, forward-thinking, friendly and encouraging team who are constantly striving to improve standards for our patients, their owners, and our colleagues.
There is the opportunity for flexibility in your working hours so please talk to us about your requirements if you feel we may be the right fit for you.
The post includes rotating through our theatre and inpatient teams as well as consulting (15 minutes as standard) shifts.
As a busy hospital practice, there is the opportunity for flexibility in your position – for example the possibility of biasing your work towards inpatient care, orthopedic surgery, or a consulting-only position.
There is no out-of-hours work as our patients are cared for by our own team of night vets and nurses enabling us to work up our cases thoroughly.
You will be working alongside our experienced and hands on nursing team many of whom hold further qualifications.
